Setup — CSV Configuration, Synchronization & WAPP Integration

This guide explains how to configure vehicle data using CSV files and connect them to your Walcu account.

1. Access and Duplicate the 3 CSV Files

• Version file: → Open file
• Equipment file: → Open file
• Images file: → Open file

2. Edit the CSV Files

a) Version file

In this file, you will define the vehicle’s core details such as brand, model, transmission, etc.

• To add more fields: create a new column and use the corresponding Walcu database field name.
• To add custom fields: use the format custom.fieldname.

IMPORTANT:

The “id” field must contain a unique number for each vehicle. This id is used in the other files to sync equipment and images.

b) Equipment file

In this file, you will define the equipment of each vehicle.

IMPORTANT:

To link equipment to a vehicle, the “version_id” column must contain the same id used in the Version file CSV.

c) Images file

In this file, you will define the images for each vehicle. The links must be direct image URLs.

IMPORTANT:

To link images to a vehicle, the “version_id” column must contain the same id used in the Version file CSV.

3. Make Your CSV Files Public and Copy the Links

If your files are in Google Drive:

• Open the document → File → Share → Share with others
• Change General Access from Restricted to Anyone with the link (Viewer permission)
• Copy the link using the “Copy link” button

If your file is local:

• Upload it to Google Drive
• Right-click the file
• Click Share, then Share again
• Change General Access from Restricted to Anyone with the link (Viewer permission)
• Copy the link using the “Copy link” button

4. Add the WAPP to Your Walcu Account

Add the WAPP to your Walcu account by clicking the “Install” button.

5. Add the CSV File Links

Paste the URLs of the different CSV files into the WAPP within Walcu.

6. Select the Attributes to Display

Use the “Attributes” selector to choose which fields you want to display in your account.
