Integrate your outlook calendar with Walcu to sync appointments automatically.
ℹ️ About this resource
This integration includes three automations and one custom field.
Automations:
- Rule 1: Creating appointments in Walcu will create them in Outlook.
- Rule 2: Deleting appointments in Walcu will delete them in Outlook.
- Rule 3: Updating appointments in Walcu will update them in Outlook.
Custom Field:
- Field name:
id_outlook - Purpose: Required to make API requests.
🛡️ Implementation guide
Follow these steps to integrate this resource into your Walcu account.
Phase 1 — Prepare Values in Walcu
1. In Walcu, go to Integration and click Download.
2. Before clicking Install Application, fill in these fields in Walcu:
- Directory (Tenant) ID
- Application (Client) ID
- Client Secret Value
Phase 2 — Create and Register the App in Microsoft Entra
1. Sign in with an administrator account at Microsoft Entra admin center.
2. Go to App registrations → + New registration.
3. Enter a name (e.g., Calendar Integration Walcu) and complete the registration.
Copy IDs from the App’s Overview
1. Open the app you just created and go to Overview.
2. Copy Application (client) ID → Paste into Walcu as APPLICATION ID.
3. Copy Directory (tenant) ID → Paste into Walcu as Directory Tenant ID.
Create a Client Secret
1. In the same app, go to Certificates & secrets.
2. Click + New client secret.
- Description: Walcu Calendar
- Expires: choose a suitable expiration (e.g., 1 year).
3. After creation, immediately copy the Client Secret Value (not the ID) → Paste into Walcu as Client Secret Value.
Phase 3 — Install the Application in Walcu
1. Return to Walcu.
2. Confirm the three fields are filled in:
- Directory (Tenant) ID
- Application (Client) ID
- Client Secret Value
3. Click Install.
Phase 4 — Grant Microsoft Graph Permissions
1. Back in Microsoft Entra admin center, open your Calendar Integration Walcu app.
2. Go to API permissions.
3. Click + Add a permission → Microsoft Graph → Application permissions.
4. Search for Calendars.ReadWrite and Add it.
5. In API permissions, click Grant admin consent for www.walcu.com and confirm.
Phase 5 — Activate Automation Rules in Walcu
In Walcu, enable the three rules:
- Create appointments in Walcu → create in Outlook
- Delete appointments in Walcu → delete in Outlook
- Update appointments in Walcu → update in Outlook
Phase 6 — Optional Field Visibility**
(Optional) In Walcu, adjust the visibility of the appointments collection custom field (e.g., outlook_id) according to your needs.
